FLORIDA -- Several Tamiami Composite Squadron members distribute water and supplies from Mission Harvest to the local residents in Pinecrest and Perrine, Fla., following Hurricane Wilma.

Suffolk Cadet Squadron 10 hurricane fund-raising efforts approach $12,000.   Goal is $50,000 by October  Squadron 10 Commander Maj. Michael Kelly and  Cadets Mary Gotay and Michael Gotay collect funds for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. The squadron has raised almost $12,000 since Labor Day.

Wisconsin members operate mobile command post in Mississippi.  Vehicle equipped with complete on-board communications, technology package Wisconsin Wing Mobile Command Post and Communications Center up and running at Hawkins Field Airport near Jackson, Miss.

Kentucky Wing cadets man telephone bank in state's EOC 16 hours a day.  Members logging in labor, supply contributions.  From left, Kentucky Wing cadet Brittany-Ann Wick and senior member Christie Wendlegast are ready to answer the phones in Kentucky's Emergency Operations Center in Frankfort, Ky., as Hurricane Katrina contributions, in the form of supplies and labor, are called in to the EOC. Wing members have volunteered to maintain a 16-hour shift every day until the center no longer needs their help.

CAP hurricane relief operations continue in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama.  Hundreds of members involved in damage-assessment, emergency official transport, missing person searches.  Aerial image shot by a Louisiana Wing aircrew using Civil Air Patrol's satellite-transmitted digital imaging technology during a damage-assessment mission Aug. 31. The mission was flown at the request of the Louisiana Department of Homeland Security.
